Flight back to Miami

Before we headed back to Havana, we got the opportunity to visit the Fiesta de los Abuelos. This group promotes the arts and performs service projects for children and retirees in Santa Clara. We learned several dances and the language of the fan. Next was a visit to a Hostel and Paladar. The owner welcomed questions about establishing and operating a business in Cuba. After a wonderful lunch, we headed back to Havana to get ready for a flight home the next day. We drove past the U.S. Embassy which is located along the Malecon in Havana. The Malecon is a miles long seawall that is an evening gathering place for many in Havana. Many buildings in Cuba are not well maintained on the outside as there is just not enough money.
