Ed & Marilyn 'The Happy Wanderers' travel blog

Jan walked over to join Marilyn & I as we sat outdoors enjoying our morning coffee. We continued to chat, even after the coffee was finished off.

Marilyn and Jan had plans to go back into the Plaza area of town to do some shopping. Marilyn wanted to return to the Loretto Chapel because the pictures she took yesterday somehow were accidently erased from her phone.

I took the car and drove to the local Walmart to get some Engine Coolant for the truck. It was slightly low and I wanted to top it off, as well as topping off the windshield washer fluid. I returned in plenty of time for the ladies to take the car and head off for their adventure.

Eddie had planned to visit a local casino, while I worked with the truck, so he also took off and I was on my own.

I took care of the truck issues, then hooked up the sewer hose to dump the tanks before we leave tomorrow morning.

Later, I fixed some lunch and then started to read a book, but had a tough time keeping my eyes open. I finally gave up and took a short nap.

Even though we had a short drive yesterday, I wanted to start off with the fuel tank topped off so I drove to a nearby place where I could get some diesel fuel.

By the time I arrived back at the RV, Marilyn and Jan had returned, so I took Marilyn’s car down the road to a Valero filling station and topped it off with fuel also.

We set an approximate time for departure tomorrow at 9:00 AM.

We have about 200 miles to travel to reach Raton Pass, where we plan to spend the night, before continuing on to Mountaindale on Wednesday.
