Today our bags had to be out infront of the room by 7.30am then all of us on the bus at 8.30am. We are off to St Malo via Rennes in Brittany.

Rennes was another of pretty town and the highlight for us was meeting a waiter at a Café for lunch. We just picked out a café which had seats infront in the shade. A waiter approached us in French and we were seated. We decided to talk in English and not the pidgeon French, and found to our surprise he talk fluent English. He worked in Melbourne on a 2 year visa as a spruker for a restaurant in Hardware Lane. His name was Michael as well and he was very friendly. We asked him for directions to a post box close by so we could post the last of the postcards. He also gave us the address of a very good restaurant in Paris which uses really fresh meat. We won't be able to go to it as we will not have time but it is the thought that counts.

Back on the bus again, and we caught a ferry to St Malo while the bus went straight to St Malo and waited for us. When we arrived at St Malo from the ferry we had a tour of the walled part of the city. It was about 4 kilometres long, and some fascinating scenery along the way. We met up with the bus and we came to our Hotel.

We had dinner in the restaurant at the hotel courtesy of Scenic and then it was goodnight as we were tired once again.
