My hotel for the next few days

A relocation day

Terry dropped me at the train station.

Caught the TGV to Dijon then a local train to Montbard

Started chatting with a man in Dijon, who had been walking with a pack. He suggested I walk the Louis Stevenson trail but hire a donkey or llama to carry my gear. I thought that rather amusing.

Checked into hotel de la Gare at Montbard and collected my backpack and bag that Patricia had kindly left there a few days earlier as she had to go away.

Did my washing and made use of the lovely big French windows to hang up my washing. Dried in no time! Rested for a while in the room then before dinner went for a walk in Montbard. Found lots of tiny passageways and lanes and a few surprising shop windows.

Had dinner in the hotel as I found the manager and staff really helpful and friendly. Lovely family atmosphere here including their dog.

Simple fish and veges dinner.
