We took time for coffee outdoors and then a small breakfast before driving to Palmyra to watch Lauren play baseball.
When the game was over, Lauren came home with us to spend the day and the night.
It was lunchtime when we arrived back in Hannibal so we stopped at the “Golden Corral” for their buffet. That was tasty indeed, and we left feeling full to the brim.
Back at the RV we decided to get some work done on this beautiful day. Marilyn began making her “well known for being delicious” caramel corn. Alas, most of it is going home with Lauren tomorrow. LOL. Her Daddy, Steve, likes it a lot to put it mildly.
While Marilyn and Lauren were doing the popcorn ballet, I dragged the air compressor out and aired the RV tires as well as the air ride system. I became distracted by some dirty areas on the RV and started cleaning. Then I noticed the truck, parked under a tree, was carrying a good load of bird poop. So I washed that part of the truck too, and then moved it out into the open where it is not under a tree.
Marilyn and Lauren came outdoors and cleaned the car on the inside and partially on the outside.
By the time we were all finished with the work, it was time to relax with something cold to drink, and then it was time for showers.
By now, dinner was past due so we ate a quick dinner and then settled down for popcorn and a DVD movie that Lauren likes a lot, called Nanny McPhee.
I have to admit that I am tired and ready for bed.
Life is Good!
