Marilyn now has a dietary restriction limiting her caffeine intake.
With that in mind we are both now drinking decaf coffee. Marilyn because the doctor suggested it, and me out of sympathy for my lovely wife.
I left for “Cave Duty” at 9:00 while Marilyn drove off to purchase groceries. We expected Jennifer and the two grandkids to be here for dinner because Steve is overnight in Chicago.
I led two tours with really great young folks and we all enjoyed the Cave.
By the time I finished work, it was 1:00 PM and a nice lunch was being offered to the Cave personnel by the restaurant on the premises. They even suggested that I take a meal to Marilyn so I filled two dishes with roast beef, shredded BBQ pork, mashed potatoes, green beans, and hot rolls. It was all very tasty.
Back at the RV I changed into “ball playing” clothes and was ready for Colby.
When the family arrived, Colby and I played catch with a baseball while Marilyn and Jennifer fixed dinner of lasagna, mac & cheese, (Only shell macaroni is acceptable), mandarin oranges, garlic bread, and ice cream for dessert.
After dinner the kids played hide and seek while we watched.
The company left for home just before 7:00 PM so Marilyn & I could go inside to watch the season finale of “Survivor”.
We have a busy day tomorrow and will be out until late at night.
An early call to work on Friday, followed by another late night, and then I will be working on Saturday also, leading a tour of Cameron Cave.
