It was a pleasure to share our coffee outdoors this morning. The temperature was cool enough so that Marilyn went back inside to grab a sweatshirt. The stiff breeze and gray, overcast sky added to the coolness of the morning.
Marilyn & I were absolutely exhausted yesterday. We had so little sleep over the past two days that we were back inside the RV early. In fact I could hardly stay awake as we tried to watch “Dancing with the Stars” last night.
This morning, after a good night of sleep, both of us felt pretty good. Marilyn even went for a walk while I did some work on the computer. I also made a temporary fix on the loose trim of one of our slide-out rooms. We are ready to get back on the road tomorrow, continuing north to Perrin, Texas for one night.
We are keeping an eye on the weather as we travel, in an attempt to remain clear of the storms.
Marilyn & I drove to a Mexican Restaurant we heard about from our friends, Bob & Janet, and it was very good.
Long-time friends, Mike & Leslie dropped by to say hello and we enjoyed a good visit for a while before saying so long. We hope to see these fine folks again next year.
We are now ready to relax and enjoy the evening, just watching the TV or reading.
We are all ready to hook up the truck and head north if the weather cooperates with our travel plans.
Now, all I need is another good night of sleep.
Life is Good!
