March 2016 --update

Another busy month for us as we participated in our usual activities and have started the process of finishing up for the season:

Vic calling card bingo on Sunday evenings. Helping several people with their last minute projects. Showing “Saturday night at the movies” in the cul-de-sac—daylight savings time has pushed the movie time to 7:30pm (almost past bedtime!) but the weather is so good we don’t even need jackets.

Sandy continuing with the Communication Committee and Board meetings, wrapping things up. Playing Hand & Foot on Monday and Thursday afternoons.

Both of us enjoying water volleyball. We were able to get in several evenings of card games with friends before they left at the end of the month. Helped one friend celebrate her 100th birthday—and she was still able to dance to the music.

Two trips out of town for us this month:

Our first trip to Hemet to visit Larry & Judy. We took another couple with us –all played water volleyball and then card games until 9pm. Always fun!

Our second trip was a 4 day cruise to Catalina Island and Ensenada, MX. However, the winds were too strong to tender us to Catalina so the ship made a stop in San Diego instead. We had 15 of us from RCB. The travel agent provided a bus, so no driving and parking problems. Other than windy and high seas, the trip was great –good food, entertainment and friends.

The weather has been 10 degrees hotter than normal –so into the mid 90’s now. Trying to enjoy the pool as much as possible.

Hard to believe we need to start “summarizing” the park models and thinking of packing up to head North. The time has gone so fast. We will be home in 3 weeks.

Take care, have a great Spring.

Love from

Vic & Sandy
