A comfortable way to travel to Melbourne again 2016 travel blog

Childs Cove ... The start of the limestone coast

What animal do you see in this rock formation?

The Grotto.

Bay of Islands coastline

The Arch

Stalactites from the cliff tops in Loch Ard late in the evening

Late evening at Loch Ard ..... I bet it is not often...

Chinese hats? I remember them from last time we were here

We have had a perfect day, weatherwise for our revisit to the sights of the limestone coast of the Great Ocean Road. Port Campbell is only 90 min from Port Fairy along the start of the Great Ocean Road and we have spent 6 hrs getting here visiting every lookout and little walk en route. Last time we were here we rushed the east end of the Great Ocean Road and did not visit all the sights so it has been nice to have more time. The only sight we have not revisited yet is the 12 Apostles which we will do tomorrow as we pass on the way to Melbourne.

I have taken so many photos it is difficult to know which to share with you but I hope it gives a feeling for the fantastic dramatic coastline here.
