Kira and her parent's Canadian adventures travel blog

Hey it's Kira from PEI,

Yesterday after leaving New Brunswick we came across the big Confederation Bridge across the Northumberland Strait to get to PEI. All through the day we drove so I will go onto today.

Today we went to see Anne of Green Gables. It was so neat. For the last two weeks I have been reading Anne of Green Gables. It is really good! We got to see the barn and the house and walk down Lovers Lane and the Haunted Wood trails (You will understand if you have read the books)! We also learned about L.M. Montgomery and where she got the ideas for her book! We learned that the setting for Anne of Green Gables was, back then her Aunt and Uncles house and that almost every setting in the book is real but just the characters aren't! L.M Montgomery soon died in 1942. The series of Anne of Green Gables are known as the sweetest creation of child-life yet written! At the gift shop I got Anne of Green Gables porcelain doll, a hat with her red braids, the DVD's, the CD and some raspberry cordial (You will also under stand if you have read the books)! Anyway some of the things I have noticed about PEI is that most of the dirt is red, they mostly grow potatoes that are scrumdidilyumshus, and that it is really prettyful! Well that's all folks!
