Marilyn & I had a date for breakfast with our friends, Mike & Marian.
We passed on making coffee this morning, showered and were soon ready to go. It was so nice to see these good friends again, as we haven’t been together as often as we would like.
We drove to the original Diaz Diner which was fairly crowded.
We found the one empty table and quickly sat down, as people continued to come in the door.
Breakfast was delicious, the coffee was just the way we like it, the conversation was constant, and our time passed quickly.
On the way back to the resort, Mike showed me where to go for City business, which I’m sure is good information to have, as we are now residents of Mission, Texas.
Not long after we arrived back at our RV, I had a call about connecting our High Speed Internet and Cable TV over at our new place. (I call it the “Ranch”), so I walked over there and we now have the same service there that we have here. Our service here will be discontinued next Monday.
I moved some items from the Coach house here, to the new coach house and visited with one of the new neighbors.
Late in the day we went over to Mike & Marian’s to sit on the patio and visit. That is a nice way to spend some time on a beautiful, warm, day.
Our awesome weather continues with the sunshine and warm temperatures, usually with a nice breeze to make things comfortable. The problem with that is that the valley is an area dedicated to agriculture and the farmers need rain pretty badly.
I think we might surrender a few days of our great weather for us, to have a nice steady rain fall on the fields for the farmers here.
Yep, Life is Good!
