A comfortable way to travel to Melbourne again 2016 travel blog

Henley marina

The folded rocks and platforms of the beach..

Plaque about the amphitheatre

The strange layers of rock with the " sugarloaf" in the middle

The rock mound "sugarloaf" looked like a huge fossilized tree root system...

On the Friday we left Adelaide and moved south down the west coast of the Fleurieu peninsula to Christies Beach.....but only about 30 min drive out of Adelaide. On the way we stopped at Henley a posh marina area and then to an interesting geological CP called Hallett Cove for a 4 mile walk round the pathways and broadwalks which had many onteresting placks.

Katie Bd Andy joined us in Christies Beach late that evening after flying to Adelaide after work. It was lovely to see them
