We were in need of a “catch-up” day, so after a good night of sleep, we began the chores which would keep us busy most of the day.
Marilyn did multiple loads of laundry while I shopped for groceries, unpacked, and did many little chores.
Today was the open house at Retama so I was outdoors much of the afternoon, visiting with Jim who was showing the lot and coach house.
A dozen or so people visited and I met some of these nice people.
Finally I went inside where Marilyn was finishing the last batch of laundry. A knock on the door brought a smile to our faces because we thought it might be our friends, Mike & Sandy.
Sure enough it was these good friends, who recently became full time RV’ers. They had two friends with them so we met Steve & Jackie.
It is nice to meet folks who seem like you have known them a long time, as we did with these two nice people.
We ended up taking them over to see our new coach house. We took some glasses, wine, peanuts, and soda, then sat together outdoors, visiting and planning a trip to Mexico next Tuesday.
Once our visitors left for home, we returned home for some dinner and relaxation.
Tonight we will watch a little TV and then hope for a good night of sleep.
