Formal Night At Sea
Jan 27, 2016
|Our day at sea began with a light breakfast. Marilyn & I took our coffee out to the aft deck to watch the ship’s wake slide away behind the ship.
Once we had all the coffee we wanted, I went to the Basketball court to shoot some hoops while Marilyn wandered around the ship, looking for a bargain.
When I returned to our cabin to take a shower, the cabin attendant was cleaning our room, so I grabbed my Kindle and went to find a quiet spot to read for a while.
While I was reading, Jan joined me for some chatting, and then Eddie joined us. No one had seen Marilyn.
I hated to join folks in the elevator until I had a shower but was soon all freshly showered and dressed in clean clothing, ready for some time on the balcony with my Kindle.
Marilyn joined me for a while and then we went for a walk and stopped to have lunch around 1:00. Jan came by and joined us but this time, no one had seen Eddie. Lunch was great with all the shrimp, mussels, and sushi you could want.
More quiet time followed lunch and maybe a short nap slipped in there somewhere. Marilyn did get out for a walk around the ship taking pictures for me to post on the blog once we get home.
Tonight is the last of the “Formal Nights” so we will get dressed for dinner in a little while. This is also Lobster Night with Escargot for an appetizer.
After dinner there are several really good shows with talented entertainers. Our problem will be deciding which one to go see.
One thing I have to mention to you is that Marilyn mentioned today that this ship is loaded with “Belly Bloat”.
I know she is right because I have some of that.
