Ed & Marilyn 'The Happy Wanderers' travel blog

We didn’t have much time to snuggle in bed this morning because we were picking up our friends, Mike & Marian, at 7:30 for the drive to Mass.

After we left the church we drove right back to the resort because we all had a lot to do today.

Marilyn & I spent most of the day packing for our trip. We have checked in for our flight and have the boarding passes printed, the clothing is packed, and we are pretty much ready to jump in the truck with our friends, and head off to Harlingen.

I must admit that packing was difficult with the playoff football games on TV. I did more watching than packing. LOL

I hope to write a blog each day that we are away, and post them as I get a chance to do so.

We will be in Florida tomorrow, and will sail away on Tuesday. We will visit Antigua, St Lucia, Barbados, St Kitts, St Thomas, and Princess Cay before returning home.

Friends and neighbors will keep an eye on things around here while we are gone, and we’ll be back before you know it.

Once we get back home we need to finish the process of becoming residents of Texas. As the saying goes, “We weren’t born in Texas, but we got here as quick as we could.”

We still have three months here in the Rio Grande Valley before we head north for about five weeks. Then we plan to spend five weeks in Flagstaff, Arizona, before moving to Colorado Springs for another five weeks. Five weeks back in Missouri will come before we once again head south toward our winter home here in Texas.

Now you know our travel plans as well as we do. Of course, all RV plans are set in Jello, and subject to change at any time.

One thing we know and it never changes, is that Life is Good!
