Ed & Marilyn 'The Happy Wanderers' travel blog

I awoke early this morning. Trying to be quiet, I sneaked out of bed and went to the living room. I worked on my book project for a while and was still engrossed in that when my dearly beloved appeared, put the coffee on, and joined me.

When the coffee was ready we went outdoors to sit in the lounge chairs, ready to welcome the day.

Once the coffee was finished off we went back indoors and completed the normal morning chores. Now the RV is clean, bed is made, dishes done, and all is well.

Marilyn had an appointment to get her hair cut so she took off in the car. While she was gone, I aired the tires on the truck and added air to the air ride system on the RV. Once that was finished I put the compressor away and had just sat down when I heard the car drive up.

Marilyn was home but we left again and drove to the store for some grocery shopping, and then our chores were mostly finished for the day.

We have our new Texas address but for now we will continue to use our old South Dakota address. I did, however, drive to the car inspection station and had the car inspected. Now it is ready to be registered in Texas and we’ll do that soon. The truck inspection is scheduled for Monday.

We need to find time to drive over to Rio Grande City to get our Texas Driver’s License. Maybe sometime next week we can get that done.

Tomorrow we plan to have fun in Mexico with a group of close friends.

I hope my trusty photographer remembers to bring her camera so that I will have pictures for you.

For now I’ll call it a day and get this blog posted.
