It was nice to sleep in my own bed last night. My five year old granddaughter had taken my place to sleep with “Mimi” and I was relegated to the hide-a-bed in the living room while the company was here for a week. (Actually eight nights. LOL)
After sharing our morning coffee, I completed a few chores outdoors and then went to work with paperwork, first printing the forms and then filling them out properly. Tomorrow I hope to get all the paperwork sent off to the appropriate parties.
It was shortly after 12:00 noon by the time I was finished, so I grabbed a ham sandwich and some chips for a bite of lunch.
Friends, Eddie & Jan, were on the way here today so we kept track of their progress. They will be staying in the resort next door for a couple of months and I can see many adventures on the horizon for all of us.
Marilyn & I have certainly been blessed with the good people we have met in this lifestyle. Although we aren’t always in the same place, it seems that we pick up right where we left off when we do get together again. Great friends are precious for sure.
We picked up Eddie & Jan at 4:30 and drove to a place called BJ Brewery for dinner. We met with Bob & Janet who rode with Jesse & Ginger, and Steve & Cathy who followed us.
The ten of us enjoyed a fine meal with lots of conversation and laughter.
It was a fine evening for sure, and that makes it easy to remember that Life is Good!
