Family heading home. We are becoming Texans.
Jan 1, 2016
|The grandkids had to go swimming one more time so, in spite of the 50 degree temperature and the constant drizzle, mixed with a light breeze, they did just that. It is a good thing they didn’t have to walk any farther than across the street to get to the warmth of the RV after climbing out of the heated pool.
We drove to the airport in Harlingen in a steady rain.
We stayed with the kids as long as possible before we left to drive back home. Just as we reached the resort, Jennifer texted us to say that their plane was late due to the bad weather.
As I write this blog entry we await the news that they have reached Houston and made their connection. So now we wait.
I did want to let you dear readers know that Marilyn & I have decided to become residents of Texas. We’ll start that process on Monday, by establishing a Texas address.
Also we are in the process of purchasing an RV site with a nice Casita from our friends, Greg & Barb.
So the adventure continues as we enjoy this wonderful RV life.
We will keep all of you informed of the steps we take along the way, as others of you may wonder about changing to become residents of Texas.
For now I’ll close this blog and continue to wait to hear from our daughter as they fly back to Missouri tonight.
Life is Good!
