Ed & Marilyn 'The Happy Wanderers' travel blog

Neither Marilyn, nor I, slept much last night, and, as a result, we felt tired all morning.

The usual morning coffee helped somewhat, and that was a good thing because we had a lot to do today.

It doesn’t feel much like Christmas with temperatures in the upper 80 degree range. We love it!!

Marilyn & I put fresh linen on the king size Murphy bed in the Casita. We still don’t know if we will sleep over there or if our daughter will choose to sleep there, but all is ready no matter what the decision.

We’ll pull out the Hide-a-bed in the living room of the RV, for the Grandkids.

We had shopping to finish up today, so once the normal chores were completed, we took off to locate some needed groceries and a couple of other things.

Jennifer and the Grandkids will be here in the evening of Christmas Day.

We hope to take them on a “Dolphin Watch” cruise at S. Padre Island, and several other activities, but with the wonderful swimming pool across the street, it won’t take much to keep the younger ones entertained.

Our friend, Barb, came by with a gift and picked up one from us for her, so this little gift exchange was enhanced with some conversation. Greg & Barb continue to bless our lives, as do our other friends.

A welcome visit from a friend, with meaningful, uplifting, conversation, just when it is most needed, is certainly a blessing

So, to all of our friends and family, we continue to wish for each one of you, a Very Merry Christmas.

Life is Good!
