Yesterday and today I helped Larry and Linda Seelke with an estate sale which they were conducting for one of their friends. Some of their family members were helping as well. It was nice to meet them. Yesterday was a slow day but it really picked up today. They provided lunch and drinks for everyone and they gave me a three-drawer chest to replace an old rickety one. I had the easiest job; I kept a watch on some valuable coins and other expensive items and helped some buyers by listing their purchases with prices. Linda was the cashier and “go to” person.
A cold front blew in about mid-morning today but the predicted rain didn’t materialize. We were glad because there were many large items outdoors.
