9 hours later and not the expected 12 I pulled into a HUGE bus station which turned out to be Puebla. I hoped on a bus and found my hostel - Leonora. It was VERY cool, an old colonial building that had been restored with a restaurant and bar downstairs in the courtyard with a band playing as I arrived. Upstairs I was shown to my 4 bed mixed dorm room - just check out the pictures not the standard dorm!!

Day one in Puebla and I headed out to breakfast with a couple of people from the dorm. We thought a crepe would be a good fast option - one hour later we decided we had been wrong about that and eventually our OJ and crepes arrived!! We then strolled around town into church after church - one with a crazy ornately decorated gold rosary chapel, pretty impressive. We then went in hunt of a few markets and then to an outlet store as the American guy from our dorm had a serious addiction to shoes and could not pass by on the buen fin sale!! In the evening we decided to hunt down a rooftop restaurant and then a roof top bar for a few cocktails and a few more and a few more - really fun night!!

That was time expired for Puebla and onto Oaxaca - 6 hrs South....
