Our friend, Bob, walked up to join us as Marilyn & I sat outdoors sipping our morning coffee.
The mosquitoes forced us into activity with a great deal of slapping and swatting, before we gave up and went indoors. Once the sunshine began to rule the day, it became easier to be outdoors.
The washing & waxing crew arrived and started working on the RV. It is now all clean and shiny, as is my truck and the car. All is well with that part of life.
Marilyn & I drove to Walmart to resupply the pantry and pick up a few other items we needed.
That cleaning crew moved on to the resort next door, where they began working on Jesse & Ginger’s RV. I think Steve & Cathy were next on the list after that.
I fixed a batch of oyster stew for lunch while Marilyn fixed celery sticks filled with peanut butter and sliced some sharp cheddar cheese to go along with the oyster stew.
Mike & Marian hosted a Happy Hour get-together at their home today so Marilyn & I were both showered, dressed in clean clothing, and ready to go by 4:00 PM.
Bob & Janet, Jesse & Ginger, Steve & Cathy, Mike & Marian, and Marilyn & I were all having a good time with food, cold drinks, and good companions to share the conversation and laughter.
The time passed quickly and it was soon time to head home.
Some of us are planning a trip over to Mexico on Saturday, if it doesn’t rain. That should be fun for sure.
Life is Good!
