Replica Fort

Opry Mills (shopping)

By talking to one of our neighbors in the RV Park, John learned of a great park nearby where we could take Shooter for a run and give him some exercise. Mansker’s Historical Park has a replica fort of one of the early settlements in the area. It also has a plantation house on site. We were focused on exercising Shooter today but plan on going back to the park to explore in more detail.

Knowing that Shooter was tired, we felt more at ease leaving him behind at the Trailer while we went shopping at Opry Mills Mall and paid a visit to the Grand Old Opry gift store. We had first visited the Outlet Mall when we first came to Nashville in 2012. At that time we were able to get there on foot as we were staying right next door at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel. The mall has numerous outlet stores, especially for shoes and boots. We found a couple of souvenir T-shirts to buy while we did a complete circuit of the mall. We also made a quick stop at the Grand Ole Opry building to take a few pictures and visit the gift shop.
