While Marilyn started the coffee, I jumped into the shower. By the time I was dressed, she had a cup of steaming hot coffee waiting for me, with the fireplace on and soft music playing.
That is a fine way to begin the day.
With most of our normal chores complete, Marilyn began doing laundry while I carried the trash to the dumpster. I returned in time to help make the bed, then we sat down to wait for Steve & Cathy to arrive.
I was taking Steve to Wentzville, MO, to pick up his car, which had been at “e-trailer” having a base plate installed, for towing.
Soon, Bob & Janet, Jesse & Ginger, Steve & Cathy, and Marilyn & I will all be heading south to the Rio Grande Valley for the winter.
All four couples will be towing Mobile Suites, with our cars hooked on behind the fifth wheel. That should be quite a caravan for sure.
We will spend a couple of nights in West Memphis, AR, before moving on to New Orleans for about four nights. Then, we’ll be moving to Abbeville for three nights before continuing on to the Valley.
Jennifer and the Grandkids came in for an hour or so before heading off to home for the evening.
I have to admit that I am quite sore from playing football with Colby.
I am happy to have a day off as we won’t see them tomorrow. LOL
Marilyn fixed spaghetti for dinner tonight.
Life is Good!
