I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to lead a tour today, so I prepared to do just that.
At the Gift Shop, I was told that the tours were all covered and didn’t have to work at all, so I went back to the RV.
Marilyn & I drove to town where we met longtime friends, Norb & Maggie. We left their car parked, and they rode with us to the Chinese Buffet Restaurant.
We all enjoyed a very relaxed, casual, lunch, filled with conversation, some laughter, good food, and good company.
It was so nice to get reacquainted with friends we don’t see very often.
It was after 3:00 PM by the time we made it back to the RV, and then we drove to the winery to use the wi-fi.
It is so nice to sit in a very nice, quiet, relaxing atmosphere, with soft music in the background, surrounded by wine.
I did use the ATM to get some cash for Marilyn, who is sharing the Mother/Daughter shopping day with Jennifer tomorrow.
While the ladies are doing that, I will take charge of the Grandkids, taking them to a place called “Bonkers” tomorrow.
The grandkids will run, jump, and play, while I watch.
At some point in the late afternoon, I’ll take the kids home to be with their Dad, once he gets home from work.
It should all be a fine day and I’ll probably write about it tomorrow.
It is a wonderful fall day here in northeast Missouri, with clear, blue skies, cool temperatures, and a fairly brisk wind, making me think of perfect football weather.
Yep, Life is Good!
