Both, Marilyn & I were working again today, me as a tour guide and Marilyn as a “bag lady”.
Marilyn has a big heart and when some of the little kids came up short of cash for the purchase they had selected, Marilyn took care of it.
The amounts were small of course, but I am proud of the kind person I married so many years ago.
I took an extra tour to allow two of the guides to have lunch, and it was a treat, because it was mostly adults, who were interested in history. I enjoyed the tour as much as my customers did.
Once Marilyn & I walked home, we grabbed a quick bite for a late lunch.
I took the car to town to have the oil changed, along with the 20,000 mile checks, including a tire rotation. Now the car is ready for the trip to Texas. Getting the truck ready is next on the agenda.
By the time I returned to the RV, Jennifer and the Grandkids were only a few miles away, on the way to visit us.
When they arrived it was snack time for the kids, followed by “Football Time” with Colby and me, out in the yard.
I noticed that the weather was cooling off quite rapidly and the breeze was becoming a bit brisk.
Once the family left for home, Marilyn fixed a nice dinner of spaghetti with a spicy sauce.
Marilyn is now engrossed in her cross-stitch project and soon, some show we like will be on TV.
