Up 7am to catch town shuttle to Zion Park. Crowds of people already but entered with Senior Pass and onto Park shuttle. First stop was Emerald Springs trail which was all paved and easy. We saw 2 bucks sparring below trail on the way up along with flock of turkeys. Not much water at falls but trail still pretty. Lots or oriental people touring park, taking lots of pictures/selfies. We got back on shuttle to Narrows stop which is longer but easy trail to river. Walking up thru the river to where the mountains almost meet (hence, the Narrows) is challenge due to slippery rocks. Others had rented special shoes and walking sticks. We were in sandals and Chacos but Ron made it halfway and I made it to waterfall.
We took the free shuttle back and around town. Visited local grocery where Starbucks coffee was $18 per bag..kept our purchases to minimum!
