We arrived at Rifle Gap State Park near Rifle, Colorado on August 22. We're enjoying this area for ten days before moving on to Moab, Utah. It's a new area for us, and we're really enjoying the beauty of the state park. There are several state parks in the area. We chose Rifle Gap due to the full hookups availability.

Rifle Falls State Park only six miles away has a beautiful water fall. Bill enjoyed hiking to the top of the 70 foot waterfalls and checked out some caves behind the falls. We enjoyed a picnic at a nice spot right in front of the falls.

Another day drive was to Glenwood Springs to enjoy their hot springs. It's much larger than Ouray--the main pool is the size of a football field!

Today we drove back to Grand Junction, Colorado to see the Colorado National Monument again. We've visited there several times but the natural beauty of the place is always fun to see again. The drive between Rifle and Grand Junction on Hwy 70 is very scenic as well.

Can't believe next weekend the time changes and it's Labor Day already. What a summer this has been.
