Trails and Tales - Our Year on the Road travel blog

Yesterday was a scorching 99 degrees and today feels as though it will be, as well. We are thankful for air conditioning as we continue on I-90 west into Wyoming. How I always love that first glimpse of snow-capped peaks, even if we are melting out here on the prairie!

Tonight, we are at the foot of the Big Horn Mountains in Buffalo, WY. Bev and Paul run the Big Horn Mountain Campground--such nice folks! They moved here from Massachusetts well over twenty years ago. We struck up a conversation as I was registering and Gary finally came looking for me. Then, he got caught up in the fun and we were there another twenty minutes! Paul was still telling Gary jokes as we got set up in our campsite. One of the best things about camping is all the interesting people we meet.
