Bob & Janet rode with us this morning as we headed off to Mass in Old Colorado City.
Once we left the church we drove down the street to a nice Greek restaurant called “Jake & Telly’s”
Bob & Janet were not that familiar with Greek food so they ordered a mixed appetizer to try out the different dishes.
Marilyn & I did the same but added a spinach and beet salad.
We ended our lunch with a small sample of a Greek liquor called ouzo or something like that.
It tastes like licorice and wasn’t all that popular with our friends.
We drove through the mountains on the way back home, then made a stop at the “King Sooper” grocery store, which was quite busy.
One more stop to fill the car with fuel, and we were ready to head back to the resort.
It rained a bit as we drove back toward Mountaindale, but the rain had stopped by the time we were home.
Marilyn & I put the groceries away and then relaxed.
Our plan is simply to watch some tv tonight.
Eddie & Jan will arrive tomorrow and it will sure be nice to see these good friends again.
I’ll quit now so that I can post this blog.
We hope all of you dear readers have a fine day.
