It's Good To Be Home
Jul 14, 2015
|It sure was nice to sleep in our own bed last night. In fact I slept 9 hours. Of course when we were up this morning we went outdoors to share a pot of fresh brewed coffee.
Bob walked over to visit with us and noticed water leaking from the bottom of the RV.
Marilyn had put in a load of laundry and the holding tank was full, so the gray water tank ran over.
It was all taken care of within a few minutes and thankfully no damage was done.
Jesse wandered by and joined us for a few minutes.
Later I drove into Canon City and Bob rode along. I enjoyed the company and we were soon back at the resort.
I had begun a project several years ago, to document Bob & Janet’s first winter as full-time RV’ers. I had created an album of 425 pictures but had forgotten my intent to create a DVD to give to Bob & Janet.
Today I finished that and took the DVD over to my friends.
Marilyn fixed a late lunch/early dinner which was tasty indeed.
Bob & Janet invited us over to join them as well as Jesse & Ginger, to sit in the screened room with a cold drink and visit.
That is always enjoyable as we tend to harass one another and laugh a lot.
We were finally forced inside by the normal afternoon rain.
Now we are simply relaxing.
It has been another fine day.
Now it is time to watch the MLB All Star game.
Life is Good!
