We survived the night with no damage and no further flooding. There was still enough wind to rock Winnie most of the night, but Bill left our area in the middle of the night and headed inland to unload more rain on the areas of south central Texas including Dallas-Fort Worth area. The folks on the east coast may see the remnants of Bill this weekend.
We made another run to Bay City today to finally get the tires for the Fit. when we got back the pelicans were active along the Colorado River that runs next to the campground. I got a few pictures of the pelicans, terns, and some tiny crabs that are all over the place. It looks like we may see a little sun tomorrow and hopefully get out to see what's in the area. Stay tuned.
