Jurassic World With Kids & Grandkids
Jun 12, 2015
|Marilyn & I were up early so we could have coffee before taking our showers and leaving to get to the Doctor’s office by 8:30 at the Hannibal Clinic.
I have a spot they suggest be removed and tested rather than take any chances.
We plan to do that in Colorado.
As soon as we returned to the Campground, I got busy finishing up the pre-travel chores.
By 12:00 noon, we were finished and ready to roll.
We decided to treat our kids and grandkids to the movie “Jurassic World” in 3-D so we gave them a call.
Several phone calls were exchanged and in the end we met at the theater and all enjoyed the movie.
Marilyn & I thought the new movie was better than the original, but we remember it was pretty good also.
We drove back to the Campground then visited with a friendly group of campers from the towns of Paris, MO, Holliday, MO, Mexico, MO, and Ft Madison, IA.
They are all friends with one another and made us feel welcome once they learned we had several friends in common.
They are a good bunch of folks and we enjoyed meeting them for sure.
As for Marilyn & I, we are ready to get back on the road tomorrow morning, heading to Coachlight RV Park near Carthage, MO.
We need to be in Elk City, OK on Sunday so Slade can install a new toilet on Monday.
We plan to remain at Rolling Retreats on Monday night and then spend Tuesday night in Dalhart, TX before moving on to our summer destination of Mountaindale RV Resort, near Colorado Springs, CO.
Once we are all settled in at our destination, we’ll know for sure that Life is Good!
