This morning I visited Larry Hemeon, our Cen-Tex president, in the heart hospital where he had had quadruple bypass surgery Sunday afternoon. He was looking none the worse for wear and was cheerful. Our club members are pulling for him and hoping for a quick recovery without complications.
This afternoon I had a thyroid ultrasound at ARA Imaging. My last spinal myelogram showed that the thyroid glands were enlarged, so my primary care doctor ordered the ultrasound. I expect to learn the results in a day or two.
Tonight my church home group met at the home of Dan and Martha Boswell. After our study, we celebrated the birthdays of Randy Jones and Martha. Trish Jones had made a delicious mandarin orange cake with pineapple frosting.
