And finally

After four days in the wilds of the Loire Valley at Noyant, without internet access we are now back in contact with the outside world. This is a post just for those of you who like me LOVE peonies. In France they are like any other flower. You find them growing choked by weeds, on nature strips, next to letter boxes, totally neglected yet groaning under the weight of the blooms. Here is a small sample of the breathtakingly beautiful peonies we've seen. Lucky French mothers. They are at their peak for Mothers' Day here.
