Big Sur: A combination of two languages that share the same history in California. Translated into full English a 'Big South", it refers to the central coast of California. In keeping with the Steinbeck theme, this is also close to Monterrey Bay where Cannery Row was. The pictures show the coast; a lunch break with John, Barb, Julia, and Mike; the Monterrey aquarium, and a walk close by Cannery Row.
