Porto

The kids

what an amazing city - so full of history as you walk around.

Here is Georgias diary for today - Day 96 22nd May

Today I was in charge of directions. First I had to decide where I was going. We walked to the city hall as we walked there we saw lots of pretty tiled houses me and mum said ma would like them. We found a church and walked the stairs to the very top. It was a very colourful view of orange roof tops. Next we went to this famous book shop it had this really grand staircase and a trolley that went along the tracks. Sadly there weren't an English books so we got a Portuguese tart. They were one of my favourites. After that we walked along the waterfront towards Taylors which is another port tour. We had to wait ages but finally we got on the tour it was very similar to the Croft tour. So I found it wasn't as exciting. But we found out two facts

1. Port bottles with corks only last for two hours after opening.

2. Port bottles with plastic tops and corks last for 2mths

Then we wandered home up the really steep stairs. I lost my bearings when we got to the top. My best part was seeing the Effiel designed bridge.

Georgia

Such a great city - so much port to drink !!!
