Swimming in Anti Paxos

Feeling the breeze

This is what Calamari is all about

Preveza

After the storm yesterday, the day started with bright blue skies and we headed off for a morning swim at Anti Paxos. Clear blue waters and no snorkel needed! Anti Paxos is relatively uninhabited and the smaller island to Paxos.

From Anti Paxos we headed further down the Greek coast 20 miles to Preveza. After motoring for a while, the wind came up and we had a lovely sail. The boat handles very well and was a joy to sail.

In order to get into Prevaza, there is a channel to navigate with shallow waters either side. As we went up the channel we saw some huge turtles frolicking in the water. Amazing.

At the marina we got some fuel and water and Shaun discovered a blockage in the water tanks, so after some investigation, he & Clifford fixed it all up and we had water again. It's always good to have able bodied crew on board!

We moored up to the old city wall for the night.
