The birds are so tame they peck at the soles of your...
They let us out for the day...
We made it after an exhausting journey and we are staying at another really nice hostel.
In fact Maradona stayed here once!!! El Rey, El Rey!
Today we went to the Moreno Glacier and what a sublime thing it is, like a carpet stretching from the bottom of a mountain 15km away...absolutely massive!
60ft high and bright blue with evil peaks like knife edges and in the most fabulous setting.
You can get a better look from a catamaran which traverses the lake and you sit and listen to the cracks (like gunshots) and if you are lucky (we were!) you see 100 tons of ice fall off and into the lake.
Phenomenal sound that lasts about a minute as the ice breaks in the water and truly unique.
We are off to El Charlten tommorow to see the FitzRoy Massif, without doubt a leader in the most interesting skylines ever.
Can't wait to upload the photos for you but the connection is slow here.
