Farewell Shanghai

Last day in Shanghai today. We had a very pleasant walk around the Yu Garden today. It’s very picturesque, serene and crowded. A surprise around every corner.

Then a stroll around the markets. The usual goods/souvenirs on offer all in a nice characterful atmosphere. We didn’t wander too far as we were scared of getting lost but we bargained hard for a few trinkets. Ended up in Starbucks with a Latte (for me to quaff) and an iced Chocolate for the Dragon Lady, I don't know who gave Hyacinth that nom de plume but she is relishing in the power it gives her....

Our final group dinner tonight was highlighted by Felix presenting a cake for our desert, it bought dinner to a brilliant close.

We leave for Hong Kong tomorrow arriving around 1400.
