The Skinner Shaw's Gap Year travel blog

Introducing our new family member - Rover

Millennium Stadium - Cardiff

Cardiff Castle

We have a new edition to the Skinner Shaw Clan - introducing Rover Shaw.

Our first adventure we headed to Cardiff Wales. Rover was amazing maybe a little slow but very comfortable for everyone.

Tomo was so excited to be going to Millennium Stadium and talking about Rugby - we got to see where the Queen sat when she came to the game (apparently she fell asleep). We got to see the changing rooms and Gee and Ollie were pleased to see the Soccer changing rooms as well.

So everyone was happy especially after we sampled a Cornish pastry - yum.

Next we headed to Cardiff Castle - an amazing Wall around the outside and right in the middle of the city. The weather was turning a little nasty so we headed home via Hay on Wye.

Hay on Wye was heaven for Georgia who found a book exchange place right outside a castle - this could her perfect town.

And we topped off the evening by enjoying Phills homemade pork sausages that we stole from the freezer - delicious
