Teahouse in the Bazaar

Tiles at the bath house

Interviewing Charlotte

left holding the baby

This morning we explored Kerman. Our hotel is on the outskirts so we took a taxi with another couple from our group. We saw the Friday Mosque and baths, bought fruit and dates in the bazaar and stopped at a tea house.

We had been invited by the Kerman Province Tourist Board to drive our cars '25 km' (actually 40) to the botanical gardens built in 19th century. There were fountains, roses and marigolds on cascading terraces. We were given lunch and a gift pack of tourist information and postcards.

Charlotte got interviewed (again!)
