Life goes on here at The La Parota RV Park, in Lo de Marcos. At New Year’s Eve we celebrated at the park restaurant (Tomatina) and managed to stay awake till the midnight hour with sparklers on the beach. Lots going on at our park, and the ones next door, music evenings, crib tournaments, Spanish lessons, exercise groups, etc., and of course sitting on the beach with occasional dips in the ocean, watching the whales spouting and breaching miles out to sea. Mike plays golf at the local 9 holer, (Field Of Dreams) and did get in one game at Litibu, a full size course about 35 minutes away toward Puerto Vallarta.

Parked in the big Mega store around Xmas, a fellow driver hit and dented our truck. The deductible amount on the insurance was too high so we had the dents fixed locally. The cost of the repair was 1500 pesos, about $120, can’t be bad.

The birds and the flora still amaze us with so much variety; Liz will need more books to identify each species, although the internet is a help sometimes.

We wish you all a Happy and Healthy New Year for 2015.
