ATVing @ Bouse

Maxine & Gerald, Kenny & Pat, Keith & Margie

On January 7th we hooked up with Keith & Margie to take a road trip where their friends Gerald and Maxine Martin were parked. We took the motor home and headed for Bouse, AZ where Kenny and Pat live. Bouse is a very small Arizona town with not much to offer, sitting between Parker and Quartzite. We parked on their property now far from Gerald and Maxine. Each evening one of the couples furnish the food and then they all play cards. (Sluff). It was fun.

Keith drove us to Quartzite which hosts the largest RV show in the world, supposedly. When we arrived, it was several days before the actual opening of the rally. Thank goodness! There were still many people, can't imagine what it will be like when the opening begins. Campers parked everywhere. Lots to see. Keith said that if you can't find it in Quartzite, it can't be found.

Kenny wanted to take us to Lake Havasu. Beautiful ride on his pontoon.

Lake Havasu has the London Bridge. It is a relocated 1831 bridge that formerly spanned the River Thames in London, England, until it was dismantled in 1967.

The following day we took to the desert and rode on their ATV.

A shower sure felt good. The desert showed us mining both private and commercial. People pile up stones, rocks to mark their spot of digging. Out to Brenda, AZ for prime rib for dinner. Delicious.
