|After a wet and cold night, we set off late from Cradle Mt. It was 4 C outside and raining but the car park to the national park was nearly full again!! We travelled on to Tullah, home of the Wee Georgie Wood steam train (unfortunately not running today). We stopped for a break and look around. On then through the twisty mountain road to Rosebery. We were going to have lunch here but nothing was open!! Rosebery is a mining town and we passed under a flying fox with buckets carrying ore. We continued on to Zeehan and had lunch at the Pit Stop (nice home made food run by a group of ladies). Zeehan is another mining town - still a mine nearby but all the homes in the town basically look the same! On then to Strahan (the weather improving all the time) where we stopped at the local supermarket for supplies and fuel before retiring to the caravan park to do a whole lot of washing. It was nice to have the afternoon to do little.
