The Flynn Tasmanian Tour 2014 travel blog

Left for a 3 hour tree top flying fox experience at Hollybank forest. What a great experience - 50 m up in the tree tops flying along on flying foxes.....until the third station when Brenton had a meltdown and Mum and him did a tandem run for the rest of the experience. Nothing like having a meltdown at 50 m in the air up a tree. We will have to wait until home to extract the photos and video from the DVD. What a great experience.

We then had lunch at the Lillydale water fall rest area in the rain. Some back roads towards Georgetown, a historic town at the top of the Tamer Valley. We had afternoon tea here before heading to Low Heads to the old pilot house museum and lighthouse.

A 40 minute drive back to Launceston to get to the Sliders Tube park for a variation on the big slippery slide. We all had a go. Around the corner was Hungry Jacks for tea.

Back to the caravan park and some short but serious rain - more predicted over the next few days.
