Victoria Texas

Our Lemon Tree

Our new wheels

The first picture is of Linda at our last campsite on the road. It was in Victoria Texas. It is a very nice KOA campground and the weather when we arrived was very nice. It was about 74 and cloudy. We got a chance to sit outside and watch the deer feeding in the field behind the campground. Unfortunately it started sprinkling and forced us inside.

The next day we arrived at Bentsen Grove about 11:30 AM. The grass was a little long but everything looked really good. Our Lemon tree even has a lemon on it. the weather was in the low 80s and we had a good time getting set up. Not too many of our friends here yet but it will start filling in soon.

Friday afternoon we me with a person we have been talking to for the last couple of the months as well as a couple of the local Golf cart dealers. We finally settled on a 2010 EZGo gas powered golf cart in Packer green as our new chariot. It will be delivered on Monday morning so Linda can get around the park in style.

Today, Saturday, was spent cleaning out our shed and finishing our setup. We had cocktails with one of our friends from Maine and then cooked diner on the grill. We are expecting some rain tonight and tomorrow but the temps will stay in the upper 60s and low 70s, (sorry you folks up north).

That's all I have for now.

Paul
