Another awesome day greeted us this morning.
We sat together outdoors, with the fireplace and a pot of fresh brewed coffee.
Later we ate some breakfast, selecting whatever we could find.
I selected some dressing, turkey, and noodles, all in a large mug, and then added some gravy over it all, and heated it in the microwave. Another of those “Breakfast of Champions” things. That was the only time all day that I felt even slightly hungry!
We did our few chores and then went for a walk.
We stopped at Bonnie & Lex’s home, then saw Mike & Marian riding their bikes, so we chatted with them for a few minutes.
We then walked to the clubhouse where we signed up to purchase some “Luminarias” for the Christmas Walk, scheduled for Dec 12th.
They give us 10 sacks, sand, and candles, all for $4.
We’ll put the sand in the bottom of the sacks, then put the candles in the sand. We’ll set them along the driveway, then light the candles after dark. Pretty neat!!
Marilyn & I walked back to the RV and then relaxed with our books. The breeze kept us comfortable in the 80 degree warmth of the RGV.
A little before 3:00 PM we drove over to Bentsen Palms to return dishes, etc to Jesse & Ginger as well as Bob & Janet.
They hosted a Happy Hour and the six of us had a nice visit.
Marilyn & I were back home around 4:30 and sat indoors with the windows all open.
This awesome weather is spoiling us for sure.
We watched some football on TV but nothing compared to yesterday when Mizzou beat a really good Arkansas team.
Now, Missouri will play Alabama for the SEC title.
The fun just keeps rolling!!
That’s the way it is when we realize that Life is Good!
