We always dread staying at this location. The area is so run down, with junk laying everywhere. And it sits around 6000ft and is one of the coldest places to stay. We had decided to stay at the Tonopah Station Casino RV lot behind the casino this time. However I remembered when we left Tonopah last spring there was an area just north of town that had many RVs parked along with mobile trailers set up. It appeared it was a work camp but those RV spots stayed in my memory....just maybe?
As we came to that area I seen a big RV Park sign along the highway. This was good news indeed,as this place is just outside of town in a safer setting with full hookups.
Another RVer from Washington just came back from that Casino parking lot and said he thought he would have to get his gun out to stay there! They couldnt get out of there fast enough.
