Ed & Marilyn 'The Happy Wanderers' travel blog

We awoke to the second rainy day since we arrived here in the valley. Marilyn fixed our coffee and we sat together in our recliners, in front of the fireplace, deciding on things we needed to do today.

I renewed a prescription on-line and we made a list of items we needed from Walmart. It is hard to believe but we haven’t been inside a Walmart for nearly a month. Great!!

We drove in the steady light rain, to the store and then returned home, only to discover that we had forgotten a couple of things.

In the afternoon we returned, still driving in the rain, to pick up my prescription and some thread for Marilyn’s cross-stitch project.

Back at the RV and House, we relaxed, answering e-mails and messages.

I mentioned to Marilyn that we should take some pictures around the resort, to share with our readers who might like to know more about Retama Village.

Hopefully, we will have a sunshine filled day to do just that!

Saturday morning, the resort is having a breakfast in honor of veterans. We certainly plan to attend that event for sure.

Marilyn & I have committed to a regimen of walking on a regular basis, and we plan to begin on Monday.

Marilyn fixed some Catfish coated with Cajun Seasoning, a Baked Potato, and some Cole Slaw for our dinner tonight.

So, that is it for this rainy day.

We hope all of you dear readers have had a wonderful day.

Remember folks, that Life is Good!
